Project World Health

Founded in 1999

"As a volunteer student group, our mission is to: PROMOTE education and dialogue on global health issues in the community and the university. PROVIDE medical care, supplies and education to underserved populations in an international setting. LEARN how health care systems work in other countries so we may learn how to work more efficiently in our own. GIVE future physicians exposure to clinical medicine in the preclinical years with an emphasis on learning about international health problems."
